Hi, I’m Alicia!
I grew up a dual citizen of Canada and Trinidad & Tobago. I have always had a passion for international cooperation and development. Today, I’m a Sustainable Impact Strategist and expert Advocate of the UN SDGs (and amateur salsa dancer!)
I help impact-driven organizations take ownership of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, so they can make their impact sing worldwide.
My mission is to advance sustainable development through research, policy advocacy, consulting, facilitation and storytelling, in order to secure resilient futures for all.

With over a decade of experience working with nonprofits, social enterprises and community organizations, I bring my ecological economics and systems-thinking background to the table for my clients, spanning Canada, the US, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
When I’m not delivering keynote speeches and Walrus talks, or volunteering with local sustainability initiatives, you can find me blogging on Medium, connecting my personal reflections and experiences to societal issues.
